yes, it was called gold seeding,

done in the 1960's or so. My grandfather was told he would never have to worry about it coming back. By the time it did, his Dr had died and the CA had spread throughout his body. Because of what the Dr had told him, he never thought that was the problem. Of course, he did live to 88, but he was still working as a barber and we never wanted either one of them to die, ever. Sure.  It reads - Kidneys: The kidneys have a thin capsule.  The cortices show _____ of normal appearance.  I originally had glomeruli.  But the more I listened it just didn't sound right.
