I'm a new MT. Which is correct "I appreciate you're allowing me to see your patient." or "I appreciate your allowing me to see your patient." I think it is you're allowing is the the right one. Am I right?

1.  If it is a verbatim account, you should put pee in there if he said it.

2.  The patient reports, "When he tried to pee, he got weak, dizzy, hit the floor, did not feel right."

The right way if you were going to quote this would be:

When he tried to "pee" he got weak, dizzy, hit the floor, did not feel right.

The comma would be proper

The comma should be used instead of the semicolon, as this is all pertaining to one item and should not be misconstrued as 2 sentences. It is like a modifier of the diagnosis.

What is the correct way to type height measurements.  For example, doctor says "5 foot 1 inch".  Normally when the number is pleural, it should be "feet", but the doctors always say "foot".  Also, is there a comma between the foot and inches.  Such as, "5 foot, 1 inch"?  TIA

Subject: Decubitus ulcers would be the proper way to state it but sm

Stedman's says just "decubitus" is acceptable.

decubitus (d-kbi-ts)

  1. The position of the patient in bed; e.g., dorsal decubitus, lateral decubitus. See: decubitus film
  2. Sometimes used in referring to a decubitus ulcer.

[L. decumbo, to lie down]

Subject: Positive, that is the way it was in my Stedman, but I looked it up under the proper name not under ball

Now if you look under the company web site i.e. Jergens Inc. it is spelled with a "s" on the end and is listed as Jergens Ball Lock system, which they trademarked as such. I would think that the company would know it better than Stedman in this case.
