Subject: s/l coomie device, cumie device, not sure

The abdomen was shaved, prepped and draped sterilely. Foley catheter was inserted, along with a s/l coomie device that was removed after her procedure. The bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy was performed after I established the pneumoperitoneum and placed trocars for her and evaluated the sigmoid pathology assuring that the salpingo-oophorectomies could be performed satisfactorily without compromising the colon procedure.

S/l sharp linging pains...sm
Subject: S/l sharp linging pains...sm

First she describes localized spots of sharp s/l  linging   pains that are random throughout the day.  They last only seconds.  She has felt them on the top of either foot, in a separate area of both of her thighs, her right low calf and her left lower back.

I cannot figure this out.  It clearly starts with an "L" and I have tried every word I can think of but just cannot figure out what this could be. It is not lingering as the pain last only seconds.  TIA

A site I've found so helpful for drug searches is rxlist.com.  You can also do 'sound alike' searches on there.  It doesn't always find a match, but has helped me out more times than not.

Think your idea of ballottement is a good one.  Yeah, they do digital ballottment of the spine which sounds like it's done to see if it provokes discomfort somewhere else.  Don't know much else about it though.

This one is going back flagged for sure.

From this site: http://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT00535301

The Perigee Transobturator Prolapse Repair System (Perigee TPRS) (American Medical Systems, Minnetonka, Minnesota) is used to repair anterior vaginal prolapse via a transobturator approach. Specially-designed helical needles are utilized to attach either a porcine dermal (InteXenTM) or soft polypropylene (InteProTM) graft to the pelvic sidewall at four points.

I think or 1/3 centimeter, but those 2 things do not go together. When I googled it it said it is almost 1/8 inch. Might just flag it as you cannot be specific with the measurement given in those terms.
