? On trigger point injections
Subject: ? On trigger point injections

This is a trigger point injection into the quadrautus lumborum using 0.5 xylocaine and 0.25 cc s/l "alloquants".  This is on a template that is already filled in for me but the word "alloquants" comes up as underlined in red and I cannot find any info online about what it should really be.  Should I leave it in the template as-is?  Or does someone know what it really should be?

Thanks!

Help with semicolon or comma here

Hi. I have a new account and this one uses a lot of continuations in her sentences. Should I do more commas or semicolons for these? I've re-read the rules but still am not sure.  See below.

1. She reports thinking a lot about dependency, finding her own answers within herself.

(should I use the comma like I have above for these types of sentences?)

2. She is doing that often; say in work situations and other situations she is confirming that she is less passive.

(should I use the semicolon as  I have above?)

I'm really confused about these breaks in sentences that aren't complete sentences.

Thanks.

Trigger finger and trigger thumb are conditions affecting the movement of the tendons as they bend the fingers or thumb toward the palm of the hand. This movement is called flexion.

The dictation is referring to the "condition trigger finger". That condition is affecting the patient's right ring finger, meaning that that finger most like catches or locks down upon certain movement.

Anyone familiar with how to indicate diagnostic or therapeutic injections by a number?  Doc says therapeutic injection number 1, of course some are diagnostic injection # x.  Should that go in a separate heading, or just as part of procedure description sentence?  Have no samples from this practice to go by.  Thanks for any info.

Subject: Sometimes I think you can get to the point where

Someone new at this might have to look-up a lot things.  Sometimes you just get to the end of your rope with researching especially when the doc isn't sounding too clear or the word is slurred.  We must support one another though not tear each other down.  Why can't people just go by the old saying of "if you do not have something nice to say then do not say anything at all".  To come off like a know it all proves what?  Absolutely nothing in my opinion.  Not everyone is up on everything.
