Several 0 Prolene sutures were placed to tack the ring to the anterior abdominal wall at least 3 to 4 cm away from the edge of the defect. This was done using the s/l Inleth closure needle.

Now, when he says it, it sounds like Mah kernit and spells it McKerne type fashion.
