Subject: urinalysis high bilirubin Ictotest?

It sounds like "EYE-co-test" the way it's pronounced by my Latin dictator, but I found Ictotest in Saunders pharm Word Book, but did n't find it at Drugs.com which is usually pretty reliable.  Has anyone heard of this?

Elevated bilirubin disease?
Subject: Elevated bilirubin disease?

I cannot find this disease since I am not sure what the first few letters clearly are, maybe a French name, again not sure.  The patient has an elevated bilirubin, abdominal pain and vomiting.  The doc suspects this disease rather than an obstruction.  The disease s/l Jobear's or Joulbar's or Yolbear's.

I think you're looking for Gilbert syndrome. A French pronunciation would sound like what you're hearing. It's an error in bilirubin metabolism.

I really don't know. Listen carefully, though, and make sure the doc is not saying "emia" instead of "uria" at the end of it.

Should that be 10:50 bacteria or 10-50?

Thanks!

I looked this up and found a definition for "squame" meaning a flake or scale of skin.  Can this be in a urinalysis? Or would it more likely be "squamous" cells as in squamous epithelial cells?
