Subject: hospitals are LOADED with all kinds of illnesses--sm

that is why they are there, but it is not just diabetics and not ALL of them have hypertension. Just because you are a QA, or think you are, does not make you 100 percent right on everything. You have made some very misleading statements on this site, just today alone. You really need to step off the arrogant attitude for a while and do some more research on A LOT of subjects before you start *generalizing* every certain disease by saying they ALL have high blood pressure and they are ALL in the hospital. You also need to learn to admit when you are wrong and become a little more humble in your dealings with others. you might actually learn something.

Subject: GIA stapler

The doc is dictating a bowel resection, is using a GIA and then a TA stapler.  Would he be saying a GIA 80, 3.5 stapler, or a GIA 83.5 stapler?  I have been typing is as GIA 80, 3.5 stapler right up until today, when it struck me that I may be wrong.  Help, Anyone?  Thanks!

I apologize for stepping on your toes.  I only posted those reports to get a little help.  I did not post any names of people, places, or anything confidential.

However, I do appreciate your concern.  It sounds to me that probably you are trying to start some type of drama as you are accustomed to doing all over these boards.  However, I am not going to enable that.

Have a nice day.

I'm doing an op note dictated by an ESL and he's referring to a stapler that he's using to create the anastomosis in a laparoscopic gastric bypass.  It sounds something like Acolumn, Ecolint or Acumint stapler.  I'm so stumped and would welcome any hints on how to figure out what the heck he's saying!
