Depends on what you want. I just went to work for a hospital after being at MTSOs for 8 years. I wanted a steady dictator base and more than 3 paid days off a year. No MTSO that I know of gives decent vacation time.

Also, at this point in my life, I need to think about retirement - I doubt Social Security will be there for me, even though I have paid into it for 40 years. I will have to work until the day I die.

I work at home for a hospital and I think in the MT world, that's as good as it gets. I also have a part-time job with a medium-sized national MTSO where I used to work full-time but couldn't make it because their work flow fluctuates so widely.
