I am a real oldie (as opposed to newbie)....the disturbing thing I see is that some of the newer MTs are happy with 8 cpl. We made way more than that back in the 1970s (cost of living taken into account); you can thank off-shore outsourcing for the steady decline in our rate of pay. I made 4.5 cpl in 1972. So in 34 years I am now only worth 3.5 cents more/line? Not me baby. I do not work for 8 cpl.... have a good day.
