You're right, you cannot adjust the speed on Emdat very well but it is an extremely easy platform, I learned it in a couple hours. Actually, I have not even needed to adjust the speed, the dictators are not bad. ATS is great to work for, no schedule as long as the work is done in 24 TAT. Line count is easy to get and great owner.
