Webmedex or Medware? Which would you choose in terms of benefits, specifically medical ins costs.
Any know what the difference is with these companies in terms of pay and what the preminums are for family medical insurance?
Companies offering IC
Does anyone know of any companies where you can still be an IC, and they take your taxes out?  I loved being an IC, and would like to go back that way again.
I have seen companies offering 10 cpl on the job ads.
Focus for one pays 10 cpl (5 for editing) for employees if you work night shift.
Any suggestions on companies offering--
part-time or full-time 3rd shift radiology positions?
Any companies offering just plain Word and upload to FTP?

Still notice a couple of companies offering sign on bonus. Does it make you wonder? sm

Are they just an extremely exclusive type company, wanting only the best and willing to pay for it or is there something wrong they have to bribe people to come to work for them?

I am not sure, but think I am curious enough to apply to check it out.

MQ requires 24 hours per week for PTO benefits.nm.

When it rains it pours. Second job offering bonus. FT job offering (sm)
has lots of work and offering opportunity to make up lines/hours from low work during the week.   Feel guilty if I don't help main account, but greed motivates me.
Not just this week, a long term problem. Nice people, good benefits, but

Where are the companies with benefits? sm

I've been seeking work with benefits for a year now.  I have an IC job with crappy pay (5cpl), actually am looking at another IC job now with better pay (7cpl), though not fantastic.  Part of the reason I got into this profession was to work from home and be able to afford health insurance... what a joke!  I don't make enough to pay bills much less health insurance.

I really do wish the schools were more up-front and honest about this profession.  Don't get me wrong, I actually LOVE being an MT, but the hype of 10 cpl with benefits is crap!  Recently I had a woman approach me and ask if it is true she could make 12 cpl with full benefits after a 6-month course.  I told her if she finds that to give me a call!  A school told her this was possible for her to earn from home right out of school.  HA!

Do you have their benefits, and if so, how do they compare to other companies. Thanks

Benefits from transcription companies

I'd like to hear opinions on companies who say they offer insurance to their employees.  Just today I was offered a position by a company who said they offered benefits and then when asking for details, I find out they don't pay a cent toward the monthly premium, it ALL comes out of my pay.  I am sorry folks, but that is not benefits to me.  I may as well be an IC and get my own insurance.  Probably would be cheaper too.  I counter offered to them asking them if I could work IC status and just get a higher line rate........they wouldn't go for it.  Another thing is they require you to type 12,000 lines in a pay period to be eligible for the insurance.  What in the world for?  They are not paying out a red cent toward those benefits so why would it matter how many lines you transcribed if you are paying for the insurance yourself.  This is the first time I have ever heard of something like this and I am pretty ticked about it (I know you can tell).......  In my opinion, there would no benefit at all to being an employee other than they would take your taxes out for you!!!

companies with affordable benefits
Does anyone know any companies that are hiring that have affordable insurance for family?  I need to get a position with insurance.  Thank you for any replies.
Are there any companies out there who provide benefits at start....sm
instead of having to wait 90 days?  If so, how are they to work for?
That is true of most companies, not just in transcription. Benefits are usually sm
only for full-time employees. It only makes sense for a business owner to offer to only full-timers; they do not make as much profit on part-timers, so there is less money to spend on those benefits.
What companies have best benefits in terms of PDOs?
Two weeks/10 days PDO is not fair and not enough when you have to use it to cover holidays, vacation and sick leave.  I would think there are companies who can do better than that.  Who are they?
Any companies allow as little as 16 hrs a week? nm

Any companies allow 3 day week?
I currently work 13 hours T-Sat as an employee and really do not want to go to 5 days. Would also desire opportunity to earn incentive $$. Any leads? Thanks in advance.
Less than 40 week FT companies
Any companies worth working for that have a 35 hour work week?
Any companies out there that offer the hospital benefits besides Diskriter
I currently work in-house a hospital but they do not have at-work positions and I would like ot work at home so I wondered if there were other companies and/hospitals that hire at-home MTs with full benefits....besides Diskriter as I have not heard a lot of good news about them and it makes me nervous to apply.
Any companies out there in which one can earn $500 per week or more?
Just curious
These are the companies I got from a post a week or so ago...SM
MDI Florida, Medical INK, AccuStat Carolinas, Proveras, Sten-Tel, Focus, Chase.
What companies have 10 or less hours per week...
Most companies want 20 hours for part time, but with working outside the home, it's hard to swing it.  Anyone know of any?  Thanks so much.
Companies that pay weekly or every other week
Anyone have a list of decent companies that pay weekly or at least every other week? TIA.
Are there any companies out there that offer benefits to PT employees, such as health insurance?
I know it's a rarity but I know hospitals do.
What companies acknowledge MT week and, if so, what do you receive? nm

Any companies out there that allow you to work 5-10 hours a week?
I have a full time job, but need to make a bit more income.  Are there any good companies that might work for me?  Thanks for any input.
So what companies did something for MT week? So far I see Webmx, etransplus, sm
Keystrokes, Proscript -- anyone else?  Seems pretty lean this year.
Any companies let you accrue PTO with less than 40 hours per week? (sm)
WMX used to give  FT benefits at 35 hours per week.  I can do without the insurance, etc.  but really hate to give up PTO.
Are there any companies who offer health benefits to part time employees?
Need insurance.
Companies are hardly offer FT employees any decent benefits so I think is going to be rare to find
them for PT employees. I would love that too, unfortunately, I work too much just to get below average benefits. Best of luck in your search. Honestly, I think the only place you'll find benefits for part-timers is going in-house at a hospital.
Most companies have a 2 week training period and if meeting
production and QA one can opt out of it early.
Which companies consider full-time 35 hours per week? THX......nm

Webmedex
Pros and cons please.
Those of you at Webmedex now, how is it going? (sm)

Have been thinking about this company for a while and kind of watching to see when they are hiring again.   Do you stay in work pretty regularly?  I know fluctuations happen anywhere.  DO you wind up with a good amount of LPH on their platform:   Wanting out of the MQ game and don't want to jump into another fire.

Any info appreciated. E-mail if you wish.

TIA

Webmedex
Do you know what kind of platform they use, line pay, etc?
Webmedex

Hi!

Looking for any information Webmedx please. I was thinking of applying but I am hesitant to take test etc if too many negatives.

Thanks!

Webmedex

Hi!

Looking for any information Webmedx please.

Thanks!

Have you tried Keystrokes or Webmedex?
I have worked for both of these companies and was very happy with both. I also had health insurance through both. For your sake, please try to get a main job with health insurance. You can always keep a side gig or two as well.
Webmedex radiology
Don't know how much this will help you, but I almost went with them some time ago, everything sounded great - until I questioned what happens when work runs out...would there be a secondary account?  I was told no, there weren't enough, and I would be expected to do acute care, etc....I declined.  You may wish to question them further if you have issues regarding this.  Hope this helps.  Good luck.
WebMedEx testing

I would like to know if anyone has any suggestions regarding their testing.  I took their test a few years ago and passed the multiple choice but not the transcription.  There was so much static and distortion on the voice files I couldn't hear well and even though I left proper blanks, I didn't pass.  Does anyone have any ideas as to why they don't provide better voice files and how I can overcome this?  Thanks to all for any suggestions.

Accustat Carolinas-Webmedex-sm

Information needed on these two compnaies would be greatly appreciated...Good, bad, etc...Thanks!

Does webmedex hire clinic trans?
just wondering
Can't speak about Webmedex, but I love keystrokes.. sm
Best company by far that I have ever worked for. Steady work, good line counts, good specs, fair QA, on-time pay.
How big is Transheath and now does this make Webmedex bigger than MQ? nm

Webmedex pays 6 holidays for ft employee status.

Webmedex is a great company but their platform is terrible.
That is the reason I left. Too many screens to enter simple imformation and too slow switching between screens. Platform is such a big part of our production.
Anyone willing to share Axolotl, Keystrokes, Transtech & Webmedex cpl range?
Looking... Thanks!
Any companies that allow line count rather than hours or less than 20 hours per week? (sm)

Wouldn't mind having something extra especially with Christmas and general winter expenses coming up but working a FT job and really don't want to do another 20 hours on top of that.

Full time with Transtech is both. 40 hours per week and 5500 lines per week.
