Are you sure that applies to the sm

MT?  Usually a position of supervision might have that clause because you'd be privy to confidential company and account information, but as far as the MT part goes I don't see how they can dictate who and how many companies you can work for.

And this applies not only
to the comments on this forum, but also to the advertising tactics of MT schools.
I agree with you, but I don't know that it applies to OP. (sm)
some people actually get back thousands when only paying in a few hundred and keep having kids.  The more kids, the better the benefits.  Must repeat, I don't think scenario applies to OP of this thread, tho.
This law only applies to mass
X
I think that sentence applies here -

you know, the one they use when they don't want to come right out and say you're terminal:

DON'T BUY ANY GREEN BANANAS!

Thank you! This applies to all companies

I am tired of seeing postings or ads that say IC but want you to work a certain shift.

As far as asking for extra coverage, just tell them you will do your best.  No IC should have to adhere to a strict schedule or provide extra coverage on weekends or nights unless the said company would like to offer an incentive.

Some say this job is 24/7, and while I agree, that does not equate to abuse of an IC!!!!

Depends on # of employees if it applies. Also
Statutory employee is not the same as an employee. Statutory is basically an IC... no overtime at all.

Yes, I was speechless when I saw that ad. If anyone applies to that job, they should have their head
examined. Companies like that are the reason we cant make a good living or even decent one at this point. That is a disgrace!!!
Yes, that applies to me too, but things are more complex than
juar
No way will recruiter know who applies and who posts.

I'm wondering why anyone applies there when it's well known Toth
.
Nope. Only applies to less than 50 if the number is 33% or more of
I had to study this law very extensively for certification.
Minimum wage only applies to employees.

Always cpl times total lines, unless a bonus applies

Once you are totally off training and being paid only by your line rate (cpl), your pay will be based on your two week, total lines typed  (cpl x total lines typed).  The only time lines per hour would affect you is if you qualify for a bonus.  I do not know what MT Level you are (3 or 4), but I believe Level 4 bonus starts after 150 lines per hour.  If you qualify, don't try to figure the bonus out.  It will drive you crazy.  Just be happy to see a bonus in your check!

Battering is a choice. (Domestic violence applies to many things)
May I suggest counseling? I mean that in a kind way. BTW: If you don't understand let me explain: Battering is a choice is same as Sucking up is a choice. Wondering if you were married if you sucked up to him as well... and don't get me started on misquoting Scripture either. God never forces us to suck anything up. We are supposed to be like Him. He will, however, let us choose to suck it up or choose to be battered, and that is where we end up in Hades.
So, by your philosophy, suck it up, accept the battering and you will always have a job. Okay, so you will always be under domestic violence. Your choice. Not mine. Wish you all the luck in the world with your sucking it up choose the battering. Maybe someday as I said a counseling session might help. Or not. Your choice.

for MQ STAT employees tier rate applies to ME rate as well and how calcluated?
for a STAT MQ employee:  Does anyone know if the tier rate is going to be applied to the ME rate as well or are they going to go with the 80% of the MT rate for each tier level?  If the tier rate doesn't apply as well to the ME rate then going by the 80% of the MT rate is less than if the tier rate would be applied.  I'm sure that MQ is going to go by whatever keeps money in their pockets.  Guess this is a question for the supervisor tomorrow.
