Thanks for the info.  I was worried about her as she never mentioned her plans to move on.

I don't know about that. I sent an email to OSi when I couldn't get in touch with her, and Beth Spratling, the new recruiter, told me she no longer works for OSI.
Becky is a sweetheart!
Hope she is doing alright. She is one of the good eggs there.
To Becky who emailed

One software is Dictaphone Extext and Dictaphone Exspeech.  The best part about it is that you can look up old reports by patient, doctor, etc.  It has a good shortcut program that I imported from a previous job.

Another software is Escription (or Editscript).  This is what a lot of companies are using now and it is great and better in my opinion than ExsSpeech.

About the people in the home office, yes they are very receptive and supportive from management to support to QA.

About QA, they are strict in terms of major mistakes but most of them do not nitpick on little things (some do though).  They are strict in terms of account specifics and if you are familiar with that you will do okay.  If you don't follow it they will let you know.  It took me about a week to get off QA but I don't think that is set in stone.  Some people get off earlier and some stay on QA longer.

We don't have a limit to the number of reports we can type the first day.  That is one reason I like Transtech so much.  My previous jobs limited me to a certain number which really can hurt the pocketbuck.  Not so with Transtech.

I don't think that many companies actually pay you for a holiday if you are off but we have PTO that we use.  The thing with Transtech is that they pay you time and a half if you work on a holiday and it doesn't matter if you are not scheduled to work.  They said if you are willing to work on a holiday then you deserve the extra pay.  At my previous job we only got the bonus if it was a scheduled workday.

I would average 1200 to 1400 lines a day with traditional typing and about 2500 with speech but I am still getting used to speech so think that will go up.  Also they have a tier system where the more lines you get the more you get paid per line.

The benefits are very affordable.  We have Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia.

They have some Monday-Friday jobs with weekend rotation.  It may depend on the account.  I work Tuesday-Saturday because I asked for it.

Yes you can work extra even if you are not scheduled but you would need to check to make sure there are plenty of jobs left for the MT's that are scheduled.

You can get backup accounts if you run out of work.  Not a problem.

Transtech is the best company I have worked for.  They don't require you to check in with IM and they leave you alone to do your work.

I hope I have answered your questions.

Can you call Becky at 630-739-5520? Something must obviously have gone wrong. She can sm
rectify it.
I got my foot pedal today, just as Becky
said I would. I'm excited to get started with KS! I have emailed Becky every day and left messages for her and she has always gotten back to me in a timely manner!
There must have been something wrong ... please give either Becky or Lee a call as soon as you sm
see this.  Becky is at 630-739-5520 and Lee at 630-553-3680.  I know they are both in today as I had a payroll question (overpaid) and just talked to Lee.
Call Becky at the office. 630-739-5520. She will have this
taken care of immediately.
You are thinking of Rebecca W., Becky went to Medware.
Becky totally left OSi in August
I was hired, called by Becky, sent the paperwork, sent it in sm
and waited two weeks for an ID. I have been working for three weeks now and it is great. Obviously, your situation was unique as I came to KS on the recommendation of two of my ex-co-workers and they had no problems either, both with KS for a few years. Get over it. If you want to work for them, call and talk to them. If you don't, move on. Why are you rehashing the same thing over and over. What do you want the outcome to be?
What happened to Becky Ross, the recruiter. Her name is no longer on the ads?? nm

Hey Becky Ross - How the heck are you? How's your head?Haven't talked to you since
your tumor was removed.
No, but I will email the Moderators as soon as I find the email. You know it's the truth, Becky.
