I was told several new accts are coming on this month and also next month, so
I'm not worrying.
At least 5 new accts coming on this month sm
according to my manager.
I started there about a month ago. My two accts are good. Not sure on the switching nm

Don't know scheduling, but she emailed me saying they hire only FT and have no surgery accts. at

Depends in big part on what you need per month to
x
Because some people RESENT typing new accts-h-m-m- wonder who.

It depends if you are employee or IC. Employees cannot hire sm
assistants. Most companies make you sign a confidentiality agreement, as do most hospitals and clinics. Those agreements should state (every one I have seen) that you will not let anyone have access to personal information or use your IDs. Letting someone listen is a direct violation. I read your post and went to the Privacy Manager at the hospital where I work to verify this before posting this response. She is our HIPAA specialist and told me that letting anyone listen or read a medical report is the same as telling them about it and a direct HIPAA violation.
It depends. If they invested in the the time and expense to hire you, sm

to train you, ship you equipment, set up your software etc. and you did not give it a fair chance (at the very least 2 weeks) before quitting, I'd say they'd be extremely gracious to even consider taking you back.

If you worked for them for awhile and gave the platform and the company a fair trial, and then ended up leaving, then yes perhaps they might hire you back.

All you can do is ask.  JMHO.

Most people get lucky and get good accts. I was also one put on an acct that had me leaving para
s
It seems they should be anxious to hire people on, and get right on it.
I guess some of these companies think they are the only fish in the sea -- NOT
They do hire people as hospital employees, but
it's not the great situation it's cracked up to be. The hospital complains about everything possible to the account manager, who gets nervous about losing the account and it's all downhill from there.

It's too bad because it's a great idea in theory. Unfortunately it's human nature to pass the buck and place blame on those at the bottom of the totem pole, so that leaves the nameless faceless MT's on a daily roller coaster of paranoia and hysteria.
No! Recruiters HIRE people! You don't have that authority!
It is EXTREMELY misleading to come on this board and identify yourself as a recruiter of Keystrokes when you were never actually given such a position by the company. Keystrokes does not have recruiters. The owner posts open positions on the job board, people send in resumes, and they have people in HR who do the actual hiring. They do not have recruiters. You are putting the company that I work for in a bad light, and lots of us do not appreciate it. Please stop.
I have seen many companies who want to hire OP people to work from home!
nm
Can't remember exactly, but it was within a day or two. Depends on how many people are testing s
at a time. Hope you did well!!
Nice people there. Depends on what platform. sm
It was Inscribe. Cumbersome with lots of entries to make in demographics fields, many doctor addresses to look up and fill in, and differing specs for each account. They have a lot of work, but I had to be put on several different accounts to stay busy. I had a hard time getting the minimum lines in each day because I spent so much time fiddling with other things and looking up doc names, specs, jumping between accounts, etc. It was far too much hassle for ME for the line rate, which was 7-8 cpl depending how many lines you did per week. It wasn't just me, either, because I spoke to another experienced MT who hired on around the same time and she was feeling the same way.

The cons are very nice and helpful people, pay was on time and correct, the doctors were clear with hardly any ESLs, and there seemed to be plenty of work, albeit on several different accounts. I would've probably stayed there if not for that platform. http://forum.mtstars.com/smileys/sowhat.gif
Spheris will hire you. They have lots of Career Step people.
As long as you do not need health insurance, they are fine for a new grad.
Guess we all can't be put on good accts. Gotta be there at the right time. Both of my accts.
s
Pay period goes from 1st of the month to the 15th, then 16th to the end of the month. sm

So, I guess you could maybe get by with less than 1000 a day, although the incentive tier would make it worth your while to do a bit more.  I am using ExText, and yes, I find it easy to use, but then I used it for a year with another company.  I think their other platform is Mongoose, and I know nothing about that, so really cannot say.

Yes, they are hiring now.  In fact, there is a $500 sign-on bonus.  I think it is all just acute care.  I'm sure they would love to have someone with your experience.  Rhonda Durham is the recruiter.  I am sure she could answer any of your questions.  I am happy to help too, if I can, but I am relatively new.  The account I am working on is mostly psych, it seems, and I am loving it.

Another nice thing, their benefits start after 60 days, not 90 like most.

Good luck to you.

I've easily done 600, but it depends on the way a company counts lines and it depends on the
dictators. Obviously, if you have a good share of ESL, there is no way you could ever do 600 or 700. On really difficult ones, I usually run around 400 lines an hour and I have been working on this platform for 3 years.
TransHealth starts 1st day of month after month SM
you start, BC/BS, good rate on single, don't know about family premium.
Last month was slow on my account..but this month (sm)
we've been swamped...
The new insurance is very reasonable. I pay $200/month and they pay $200/month. sm
Unfortunately, I have had to use it a lot since it changed and I am very happy. They have covered everything.

The insurance is actually $80 cheaper per month than I paid at the local hospital, which is a large employer.

Me too. As soon as there is a little extra work they hire and hire and then noone has any. This
goes on all the time.  I get sick to death of it.  I think having 2 part time jobs is better so you have 2 jobs to count on.
Does KS only hire employees or do they hire ICs too? nm

MQ accts not on DQS
When our office was closed we were all transferred to Foxboro because none of our accts at that time were on the new platform, they were on MTS. Some of those accts since have gone up on the new platform and some are still on MTS--either way we still have NO WORK
No more accts on WP5.1...all are now
on the FN platform, which is Word based.
yes to all the above - at least on the accts I was on.

Not the OP, but do they have net accts now, or still

They don't outsource VA accts because they can't (sm)
Contracts with the fedgov won't allow it. Funny how the gov't won't allow VA files to be sent overseas, but they don't bother putting a stop to the rest of ours going huh?
Webmedx does on certain accts, you have to ask. nm

Proscipt new accts
Nope..just takes some getting used to. I take all the work I can get.
So is this all QA or just those on the dropped accts?
Just wondering!
re wav or internet accts
mine have been lower on work but not running out. I was told by my liasion that if there is no work you are not expected to keep your committment. I would suggest any of these things be directly discussed with your liasion so that there are no misunderstandings. Most any MT work will fluctuate some. I sure wouldn't turn away from MDI based on these concerns.
No Work Either and I am on one of the new accts
.
I have 4 accts and still run out. I am requesting another. nm.

MDI Lanier Accts
I, too, will be starting on a Lanier acct in January. Please keep us informed as to how you like it, as I am also curious, anxious to know what to expect. I worked on Lanier over 10 years ago, but can't remember what I liked or didn't like about it. Thanks for any info you are willing to provide once you get started and good luck to you!
Yes, they definitely are - new accts coming on sm
and there was a referral bonus notice put out a few weeks ago.
Who's going to manage their accts sm
while they're gone?  I already have enough trouble having to press this and press that to get through their phone menu when I have a simple question.  I'm glad they felt they need to give their STMs a trip, that must be where our Christmas gift went.
Dont know about accts because only
work on 1, my own doing. I do both VR and straight, 8 for straight, 4 for VR. Most days the work is fine. Slump every once in awhile.
I have no good accts, all ESL. nm
x
Maybe so, but anyone new won't be put on it. I had too many horrible ESLs on my accts. nm

If you like to be switched on accts all the time.

Do they keep changing your accts & platforms or do you have just 1 or 2

Any info on DonNik rad accts?
Curious specificaly in regards to the platform they use and if pay is acceptable/comparable to most other companies.  Tks!
