Very similar story with 8 years at Spheris. My last 1-1/2 years there were a sad downhill ride, and I hung in there as long as I could. Had a very good account, got thrown into speech rec, the company lost my account, put me into several lousy very heavy ESL accounts I could barely break even on. Paycheck down the tubes. I'd have stayed, unhappy as I was, had I believed things would turn around and I could work my way up to a better paycheck again. Didn't happen and I had to go. But I'm happy I did leave. Shame on Spheris.
