You can buy an FTP server, but they are not cheap. The software is what makes them so expensive -- at least in my opinion. You can also buy/rent storage space on an FTP server. Transgear sells space I think -- at least I know they did at one time. There are several companies that will store files on an FTP server for a monthly fee.
