Exactly! It's a TOOL! You have to do what sm
they tell you to do and you can't drink your calories or snack, snack, snack all day or it will not work. Three meals a day of 1/2 cup at each meal and zero-calorie beverages is all you can have. If you go beyond that, it won't work. And yes, the psychological component needs to be worked on too.

I know all this and am going through with surgery. I appreciate everyone's stories but I know what is best for me.
Are you going by the line count tool?
Or by the date in the name of the file? If you do your line count tool and say you had files that were named [09152008] but you didn't turn them in until the 16th, they would show up on your line count but wouldn't be included in this pay period. I thought for the longest time I was getting shorted but I realized I was counting files from the previous pay period. Now of course there were a couple of times that files were still missing but I just sent Rahul the names and he would fix it.

Usually the best way to check it is just to highlight all the file names in the word count tool and copy and paste them into an excel sheet. Then you can go through and delete anyones that aren't named with the dates for the pay period. That way when you get the line count from Rahul you can just match them up and make sure they are the same. (Using your sort tool makes it a lot quicker).

Hope that helps!
Using Escription, great VR tool
and I worked about 8 hours and 15 minutes for that, had to finish up my final report for the day. No tips. I use my mouse (which all are told to use the hot keys) and I just can keep up with VR as fast as it goes either VR or straight which I also do sometimes.
I think that is why so many MTs disregard these forums. They could be a great tool sm
but the few trolls out there really ruin things. I was excited about the strides that Keystrokes has been making and there was some good back-and-forth, it is unfortunate that a very few people had to cause it to be pulled. Every time that happens, for any company, everyone assumes that it is the company's fault and that it must all be bad. Shame that everyone can't follow the rules and play nice.
