Radiology has changed but so have other specialties. You can use Google and some other good reference websites. One is Welcome to Wheeless, Textbook of Orthopaedics, which is on the Internet and there is also a MRI glossaryhttp://fonar.com/glossary.htm
The Word Help on this site is also very good and a lot have helped me here as well. So, I say do not hesitate. I love radiology and there is a lot of work around in this specialty.
