I actually just quit SPI a month ago and got this letter today. How incompetent and stupid are they that they neglect to encrypt people's most personal and private information and then be stupid enough to lose one of the computers that has this information on it??? I was outraged when I read this letter. If someone does get a hold of this laptop and is able to gain access to an employee/employee's personal information, i.e. social security #, I hope that they sue Ceridian for every penny they are worth. I know I would. I signed up for that Equifax credit watch online, and it is junk. They gave us the cheapest version that doesn't even show you your current credit report or score. You have to order them and pay for those on your own. What a ripoff!
