There were slow to pay their ICs because they were LYING!
If they were waiting on payment from a hospital for services rendered for OVER 60 DAYS prior, they should have hired a proper Accounts Receivables person instead of perpetually hiring their own family members.
If they were waiting on slow payment from a hospital they would not trip over themselves lying about checks being mailed for weeks at a time, must be lost in the mail, ask your mailman, swear it was mailed, yada yada yada, and then mysteriously when the checks arrive they are postmarked the day before you receive them.
I'm sure they're nice and accommodating to peolpe who will patiently await the eventual arrival of a paycheck. Most of us, however, expect prompt payment for prompt service. Call me crazy, but I just think that's the only professional way to go.
