Yeah, it will get better. Actually for only doing ES8 for 3 days and up to 220 lph, I'd say you're doing fine.

A lot of the speed you can build up really does rely on the quality of the clinicians doing the dictation. And, be prepared, even a dictator whose reports normally come through pretty much read-and-upload can be BUTCHERED by ES8 if they have even a tiny bit of static on the line (I just had 2 reports, 1 29+ minutes and 1 19+ minutes by a dictator whose reports are normally pretty easy to edit, but because her connection was staticky, it was pretty much retyping the entire reports).

Also, I use the Alt+K and Alt+Shift+K but sometimes find it's faster just to use CTRL+arrow key if the report needs a lot of editing. The Alt+K is great for the cleaner reports because you can just read along and hit that combo if you need to jump down to fix something.

I'm a total fan of EditScript and love the program. I'm up to about 350 lph after a couple of weeks (except when I have issues such as those tonight), but I had previous EditScript experience from an earlier version.

As long as you have relatively decent dictators, you'll have that speed up in no time and hopefully loving the platform as much as I do.

Keep us posted on how you progress, and don't give up!!!
