daycare, walking and/or boarding service in your area? Can you do grooming? My groomer is booked two to three weeks in advance, and has actually turned business away lately because they're so busy.

I have a little bichon/ poodle who is almost two. The help of the groomer and daycare owner has been priceless!

Another idea for you as an RN might be telephone triage for an insurance company or other healthcare entity.
