Great office staff, okay pay, no benefits, horrible ESL all accounts...NM
NM
I find the sound quality not so great on some accounts. I guess it depends on what account you get
on.
Webmedx fits that bill, great company, great benefits, great pay and always on time. NM
,
Depends. If you're hourly, you acrue immediately!

Well I guess it depends on what account you get on because I have set schedule (nm)

It is IC work, no benefits, make your own schedule. sm

The pay is a bit on the low side for IC work, but the work is easy, the people are great, and the pay is always on time, once a week, direct deposit.  Hope this helps.

Transhealth editors? Anyone with information on pay, work schedule, benefits, platform
I would appreciate any information before taking their test without knowing the scoop.  Thanks!
Hourly and great!

Been offered a job 100% QA great hourly pay
with Focus infomatics US side.  Seriously considering it, because it is hourly and pays really well with good benefits.  Need advice.  Saw archives a lot of negatives, but did not address QA and the American team.  Thanks so much in advance.
hourly turning out to be not so great.
hourly pay during VR is turning out to be a huge drop in pay as I am only paid hour while actually typing in a report. regular transcription and VR are intermingled all throughout the day as to manipulate my livelihood such that I am making about 200 dollars less per payperiod, that is almost 400 dollars a month.
Great pay, great benefits for 11+ years..sm
I've just started with this great company (eMTS).  I have 11+ years of experience and I was started at .10 per line as a regular employee, not IC, with a huge sign-on bonus, full benefits, very nice people, and a good account.  So far, this is the best experience I've had in my years as a transcriptionist.  Unfortunately, I don't believe they're hiring more right now, but you could always check in with them, they're online at eMTS.com.  The management seems to really care and they work with you.
Loved Alltype! Great management and great accounts.
wah  -  i miss it there!
Hourly would be great, but you and I know it's almost unheard of anymore.
f
depends on whether you need benefits. If not, go with 9 per 55 character line. more money. nm

Pay on time? Flexible schedule? Decent accounts?

Yes, pay on time. We give a 2-week schedule. Accounts pretty good

Depends on where your accounts are because
The Northeast has been hit hard by flooding. My accounts are all in areas that have roads washed out or under water, so I doubt that patients will want to venture out until things get better.
Maybe it depends what accounts...sm
you are hired to do??? I am not totally sure. The ad I am reading states flexible schedule, IC or full time, nothing about Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat.
How great they are depends.....
on whether you are an MT that gets to do all ops or radiology and get killer line count because so much of your work is macros / word expanders. But if you are an MT that is stuck with doing Progress Notes and Discharge Summaries for ESL doctors who are SO NEW TO AMERICA that they have trouble operating dictation machines, then you are going to wither and not be a TT cheerleader. All I can say is, make sure when you are offered a hospital acute care position, you get a promise First In - First Out, so you get to do the profitable work like the other MTs.
DSG is awesome-pay on time, management is great, plenty of work, flexible schedule. nm

No more great benefits. Only if you are
xx
I suppose it depends on what accounts you are on
All of my accounts have been over loaded with work this past month. I'm currently doing 2500 lines a day. Maybe your friend should ask about getting more backup accounts added to her queue.
Depends on your accounts I guess.
I have been running in and out, but still manage to work a full day. Absolutely love it here.
Does Lee Perfect have ER accounts, benefits? (nm) TIA

zzzzz

Fairly flexible but they do like a schedule. Insurance is good. Benefits are good in my opinion.

For the past week, work has been a little slower but I think that is common in every company..some days busy and other not.

Yes, they have sick pay and PTO, great benefits...sm
I've worked for TH for a long time, have taken sick time, and have never been fired for it.  Ridiculous.
Benefits don't sound that great to me.

They may be better than some, but certainly not great.

$15-18 is great, but what if ya' need health benefits?
Sometimes those premiums can be pricey in private practice.  Not what the OP asked, but just adding by 2 cents.
Great benefits don't help if the work isn't there.
It's been a while and maybe they've gotten better. The recruiter at the time was less than above-board with me. Try to find current employees to talk to.
They are able to offer great benefits...
because they do more than just transcription. And, for clarification, my posts are referring to the supervisor to whom the MTs report directly. Ms. Nasty-for-no-reason-at-all.
I suppose it depends on which accounts have openings. nm
nm
Webmedx is great for me; good benefits, sm
PTO, reasonable insurance cost. Plenty of work, decent platform (although we had some trouble last week but that's rare). I realize one company can't be right for everyone, but Webmedx has been great for me. 8 years and counting.
I bet the benefits aren't so great anymore.
Everywhere business are taking a hit and passing it on to their employees. Good insurance now at a company is one where you aren't spending more than $300 a month and you have just co-pays or a very small deductible.

Wages are frozen, people being fired for budget costs, everyone's doing two or more jobs and getting paid for one.

It would probably be a big blow to go back for a lot of people. The work place isn't the way it used to be anymore. Sad.
They had great benefits and little work. I lasted three
nm
Depends on the account for which you are hired, my accounts are low occasionally but usually with a
couple of backup accounts and doing all work types, you can do fine.
Medware or Webmedx? Which is better in terms of accounts and benefits?
I am trying to decide which company to apply with. I also need flexiblility. I can work full-time hours but not the same shift every day and I know some companies want a set schedule every day. I work a lot of weekends.
Great benefits, plenty of work, pay on time
Depending on experience, slightly above-average pay. I used to be with a company where I would have given my right arm for those few simple things. As for the posts below regarding line count, IF this (or any other concern) was affecting my work, there's a new invention called a telephone that comes in handy when wanting to address concerns (and their phone number is on their website).
Seem to have great benefits, which start after a month of employment. sm

Pay is so-so, level III 8 cpl, level IV 8.5 cpl, level V (high ESL) 9 cpl.  Everyone seems very friendly and helpful.

Good luck!

It depends on your level of expertise--great for newbie, bad for expert. nm

Transhealth is very organized, great benefits..horrible platform
Maybe it was just me but i never made it through training. It certainly could have been a lot easier than having to open up 3-4 programs to get going. I found it to be time-consuming and in a production-based atmosphere, this did not cut it. On the other hand, maybe others think the program is wonderful, but I sure did not. I have used Dictaphone EXText and that is way easier.
TransHealth has great benefits, PTO, paid holidays for fulltimers. nm

My hubs retired as a fire captain. Great benefits, thank God! nm
s
Gotta agree -- YOG was the best! Great pay, good benefits. I quit sm
the moment I heard she had sold to MQ .. ugh.
Too many variables to count. A lot depends on shift, accounts, what types of work you do. (sm)

I can be totally out of work on my 2 accounts and pull up backlog report and see some accounts have OT offered.

Every company has some employees totally satisfied with amount of work and some who run out totally.

Like I said, many, many variables to be figured in.

Great company -- good benefits, average pay, easy-to-achieve sm

incentive tier, ExText platform, pay by direct deposit every 2 weeks, always on time.  The people in management seem to genuinely care about the employees, which is a nice plus.  I have been there since October and am very happy.  Of course, one man's paradise is another man's hell it seems at times, but it is a good fit for me.

Good luck!

WEBMEDX???? It's a small national, right? Benefits, running out of work, what kind of accounts,

flexible schedule (as in working EVERY weekend mandatory?

Any opinions on the company would be appreciated.  Found some in the archives but all mostly from 2004 and 1 recent post but not much info.  Thanks.

yes, IC only, clinic accounts, great co.

Is that the only option, though? How about great accounts at 10 cpl? :-) nm

Great people, IC only, low pay, easy accounts, sm

direct deposit, paid weekly, always on time.

Hope this helps.  Good luck!

Which companies out there have great ortho accounts??

I would like to find a company that has a lot of ortho..It's my first love. Any suggestions??

They have created a new position that pays hourly. Anyone know what the hourly rate range is? NM
