I am Blessed!

I work less than 8 hours each day, on full-time job, gross almost 50,000 a year, work weekends only when I want to. Two months ago, I took on an additional IC position- just as a backup, transcribing only 2 hours (600 lines) per day. So, I guess you can say, 1 full-time and a 1/2 time or me equals 8 hours- and no I'm not bragging, and no I don't bust my butt either. I've been blessed with two positions that the software is very transcription-friendly, a Shorthand shortcut program with 1800 shortcuts and still adding; footers, headers and spaces counted- IC pays 10 cpl, full-time pays .1075 per line.

I feel very blessed to have my job.
I know there are a lot of companies out there that treat you the way you seem to be treated at your current job. But, I don't have to worry about gas, no one bothers, me and I make much more that I would in an office. I'm not saying it's perfect, but for me right now, I do very very lucky to have my job.
You are blessed.. Good job!!!

Blessed are they that expect nothing

One of my dad's fave sayings.

Thanks for answering this though, I'm new at Webmedx and am glad to know for sure so I won't be sitting at my mailbox with my tongue hanging out.  Now I can be one of the blessed, LOL.

Thank you, you deserve to be blessed.

Obviously, you're all nice people - both companies are blessed to have you
I've seen so many ugly remarks on this website that I was actually afraid to even post for opinions - but each and every one of you have been honest and most of all respectful.  I didn't get the response - look in the archives.  I think that is a rude and nonchalant response.   To answer the question and give YOUR opinion, shows concern.  This is a difficult field and somehow instead of cutting each other down, we need to pull together.  I'm taking this opportunity to thank each one of you who took the time to respond.
You're blessed to get dictation you can hear clearly. I'm finding only garbage being offered l

Absolutely not! I work for the best MTSO. I am have been so blessed to work for the small company I

I will share this about the MTSO I work for.  I called her late last Wednesday night after Church and told her I was compelled to help out with Hurricaine Katrina in some way and an opportunity arose for a small group from my Church to go to Louisianna this coming week.  Would she be able to cover my work.  She told me no problem without any hesitation and even donated money for the trip.

And I am sure there are plenty of good companies out there to work for.  To compare us to migrant workers is just not right.

I feel the same way...I love working for Keystrokes and feel blessed that I have such a wonderful jo
