I am looking around. sm

I just quit MQ a few weeks ago.  I have been looking at other companies, but it is all so confusing.  They all pay differently it seems.  I went to eTransPlus for about three hours until they ran out of operative reports, and that is all I do.  So that didn't work out unfortunately.  I have just been looking around.  Actually MQ really isn't that bad, I just got pissed because it was such a large paycut, and just prior to that, I had purchased a new computer to run the Docuscribe program.  It was just a combination of aggravating factors.  I have my resume out and about, and I am waiting for that golden opportunity--I don't know how long I will have to wait.  I have been channeling positive energy today.  Yesterday, it was kind of getting me down, but today I felt better.  It's just like all these places to work for.  It's so confusing.  I will just have to dig in and try them, and see if it is lucrative.  I may go back to radiology and investigate if I can make more money that way.  If you're getting $25/hr plus I would definitely stay MQ.  I would in any case stay with MQ until you find another job, but it is so much work looking for another job.  It takes all my time it seems--sending resumes, taking tests, trying to evaluate pluses and minuses.  I heard MQ has had its hands slapped for not explaining their actual billing practices to clients, and now they had to change their billing practices and are thus cutting wages, checking hours worked on Docuscribe, taking away insurance (one case I saw on here where the person had been doing 1,100 lines a day instead of 1,200), etc.  I think the hospitals are charging SO much money it is obscene.  They can well afford to pay the MT companies so the MT companies can pay us a liveable wage.  Not many people want to do our job--listening to coughing, teeth grinding, speed demons, etc., sitting all day in one place.  It's a tough job, and I think we should be compensated like court reporters.  If you email me when I find a place that pays well, I will tell you where it is.  Anyhow, gotta go.
