I can sympathize

Ouch, what an ordeal. I know how stressful testing is, having gone through it multiple times recently. I've heard Cobb's test is difficult, too. I really feel for ya. I did a test for one company, went through the whole thing, only to find out a couple weeks after submission (this was after the site had indicated it was received) that the transcription portion was shown as NOT completed on the site! I could have cried too, but I bit the bullet and did the test again.

I hope you have better luck in your future tests!

I sympathize, but . . .
I can totally understand the frustration of skilled MTs who have ben at this for years dealing with the downward pressure on MT wages. This is not going away. Yes, going from 80K to the low 30K's is a tough pill to swallow. But my own personal experience is that there is some decent money to be made. Not great money, but decent money. I work for one of the large nationals, work 40 hours a week, and will make in the mid 30's this year. I have been an MT for a year and a half; I feel I'm doing all right. I do NOT feel that this is a high stress job; in fact, I find it very relaxing (I used to work in management, high pay, high stress level - I like this much better). I have to wonder why you're making only in the low 30's when you are obviously very skilled. Could there be a better company for you to work?
I would have loved to have been around in the days when MTs were making 50K +. Looks like those days are gone, though.
I totally sympathize with you......
I had a horrible experience with a company in Las Vegas. I worked for them for almost one year with no problems except occasional late pay and then one issue after another in a one week time frame. I love what I do and keep going along, but that whole experience still stings and makes me angry. You will find something better and be the happier for it. I did. Best of luck to you.
I sympathize with you, but did you bother to contact Cobb and talk to them about it?
