I could draw Social Security at age 62 (in 5 years), but the amount is very low, and I wouldn't/couldn't do that. If I wait until age 66 it goes up to a higher amount, but I would still need to work (but may be doable) - depends on how much I could work and draw Social Security - I haven't checked into that. To get the highest dollar amount per month of Social Security would be at age 70, which is/was my goal. I don't have a retirement account (which is, obviously, my own fault).

I need benefits (insurance), so getting my own accounts is out of the question.
