Rattling papers while they dictate, or tearing them up right by the mic. Can't hear a blamed thing besides that paper.
next, chewing gum! aaggghhh. disgusting.
next, dictating a whole paragraph and then having you delete it or change it! (make up your mind ahead of time!).
Snot sucking!
Beepers and pagers, cell phones going off!
ah. um. ah. um. um.! spit it out already!
Other conversations (I don't care about your wife or daughter and what they shopped for. Maybe I should transcribe that too!)
next, adding their own punctuation! yeah, like every sentence ends with a comma! ha!
next, and hopefully last, rude bodily functions like burping, coughing, sneezing, peeing, and yes, passing gas so loudly that you think they ripped their pants and everyone around them goint *oh man!* you could almost hear them scattering.
there, did I leave anything out? This is just off the top of my head. if I think about it a bit longer, I could probably come up with a whole lot more!
