I say you need to do away with everything in your sentence after

the word UP. These companies know it is hard work and you don't save any time if you are an MT and they are selling it to the MTs like their job is just to fix the transcription. IF ONLY that were true. In many cases you have to take out the entire transcription and retype it. The companies know this unless they did not test it first. The poor MTs or editors do not know thisSad

LOL at your last sentence. nm
x
that was said in just about every sentence, to those

Your first sentence says it all.sm

Most likely, both  The bottom line with this UNDER 40 HOURS paranoia seems to be that, with the combination of no-money VR and straight dictation that is virtually impossible to understand, the MTSOs know that to reach their required daily/weekly line counts that we have to work over 40 hours a week to do so - no way around it.

Therein lies their dilemma:  They know we have to work twice the hours to make our lines, but they can't acknowledge it without getting into deep doodoo.  They're handing us a double-edged sword.

LOL well I screwed up that sentence but you know what I mean nm
xx
With regard to your last sentence (sm)
I bet I can guess who is the scammer and who you are working for now.  You are right on both counts -
sentence structure? perhaps

Finish sentence below
So, if you did 100% ESLs yourself the past 5 days let me know and I will gladly retract the statement. If you did not then why did you not help, and get over having to do the easier work? Just tell me that you helped out with the tough ones and I will retract and assume that there are more ESLs here than I was told.
Also, I will GET OVER IT when I am actually assigned the WORK TYPE I was hired for. What was that you said... GET OVER HAVING TO DO WHAT YOU WERE NOT HIRED FOR? Oh yeah, I forgot Bait and switch is the norm these days. IMHO.
please correct your sentence above
.
Spaces after sentence
I don't work there but am considering applying, so I called and asked them about this. Jason said a QA person told him to check the settings in Word & make sure that the problem is not there.
I think that sentence applies here -

you know, the one they use when they don't want to come right out and say you're terminal:

DON'T BUY ANY GREEN BANANAS!

That's an impressively long sentence!

Or the ones who dictate a whole sentence while yawning!

Doctors would be okay if you corrected your sentence LOL

Commas aren't put in a sentence just for sm
the fun of it. They're there to clarify meaning. A misplaced comma can change the whole intended meaning of the sentence.

Remember, too, you should be following client specs, right or wrong, over BOS. When there are no client preferences, BOS rules. You must do it the client's way as they're the ones paying for your services.

If you truly think it's a personality clash with the QA person, then go over his/her head. Some QA people have no right QA-ing.

One time years ago I was marked wrong for Groshong catheter because the QA person had never heard of it. (She was the owner's relative and did not have that position for very long!)

I hope this problem resolves for you soon. Keep a cool head and try to work things out in a professional, gracious way. Professionalism carries a lot of weight.

Correction to last sentence of my post...sm
It should have read:

Doing so makes you as unethical as the accusations being made.
Should be too! Went to continue the sentence and didn't.
I hate when I am rushing and can't correct my mistake fast enough before I hit the send button! LOL
sorry "most" of the time - dropped my sentence. nm
nm
PS: In fact, read the 1st sentence, last paragraph: sm
It says that is my take on everything. It wasn't meant to be viewed as carved in stone.
Maybe you should learn to read - like the entire sentence!
nm
Meant employee and not employers in the second sentence

Hey Princess, you never start a sentence with the word "but"
NM
I agree. You still have to know punctuation, proper English, tenses, sentence structure, etc. Show
