schools are continuing to advertise this profession as being lucrative and luring people into their MT training programs. I see this as pure exploitation and misrepresentation.

When trying to give a warning, people do not listen, the contrary, one gets literally attacked as being insensitive, unsupportive and even rude.

So, we keep supporting them and give them false hopes.
