I think you solved the mystery

This appears to be exactly what is happening here.  Shame on employers for keeping MTs in the dark and lying about it!  From now on, when I hear the word Powerscribe at any employer, I'll dust off my resume and start looking.

problem solved

VR problem solved; your opinions welcome

If we do not have to make a change to a line, then we get 6 cents.  If we have to make a change to a line, then we get the full straight transcription rate.

If they want to pay less for VR, then it has to be fair.  Fixing something in every line will not allow us to move through the document quickly to justify the claim that we will be making more money.

If we can put a man on the moon, I am sure we can figure out how to pay this out fairly and squarely.  I feel this reflects both parties (MTSOs and MTs) giving a little without the burden solely on the MT.

Please comment.

mystery job
Thinking we are pretty screwed myself. Heard one MT say a director called and said acct is gone and offered her acute care cause she had experience, seems most of us have no calls, so thinking not good. 25 MTs to displace probably aint happening. Yea hope she had a lovely vacation.... unlike us sitting on pins and needles. check what check sigh
ewwwwaaahh.....a mystery!!
I am one of those who applied.
No mystery...new accounts. sm
Been with them 6+ years. Great company to work for.
I think they are a mystery company

My friend and I applied 3 or 4 times, with no response from them..between the two of us we have 60+ years experience in cardiology... do you think we might have interested them at some point.

Maybe you can figure out the mystery

Since you're so good at finding answers - help us with this one!  My check has been cut in half for this Monday.  Next check looks to be even worse - I've lost 4 hours each workday this week.  We've got rumors we're all getting fired, and our supervisor is on vacation until next week.  Why don't we have work?  Do you think its the holiday?  Nobody will tell us what's going on!Help us solve the mystery of the disappearing job!

Wonder why mystery job winners are not announced

by MQ sup. Have not heard a word about the winners of these. This is another "Edix" stunt. They have not played these games with the MT's in the very recent past, but that was an ongoing game with them. A friend of mine won in June, and just got notification this week (about 4 months later) of 3 or 4 places she could spend the money using some card that she has to get off the internet-- lives in a small town -- those stores are not even in her town !  Big whoopee for Edix/Spheris !!!

Than mystery jobs randomly picked by mgmt.
bonuses/weekend/night shift differential is much rather preferred by me in the Dallas office than those jobs picked at random by "who knows who".
