IC

I am an IC for a company.  I only work part time, but my line count varies.  I do whatever work the company sends me.  Some days it's 30 minutes of dictation, some days 40 minutes, and so on.  I usually type anywhere from 500 to 1,000 lines in any given day.  Sometimes I feel like I am full time when I type 1,000 lines, but I like the work and do whatever they send me.

I never run out of work.  Being that today is Memorial Day, though, I had the day off, so that was nice!

I can choose my own hours as long as my work is back within 24 hours from when I receive it.

I don't work from a pool as the other poster mentioned.  I am assigned my own doctor, so that makes it nice and it's fairly easy for me to get my lines in quickly because I am used to him.
