I've seen it done in local newspapers and for schools when there was going to be a walkout. You buy an ad in the local paper and announce that on 09/01/2009, American MTs will be walking off the job to protest the continued offshoring of their work by large MTSOs who provide service to large and small hospitals alike. Guaranteed it will eventually get back to the people at the hospital, who will then know why their work is late (and also give them the opportunity to catch the MTSO in a lie when they try to explain it away with a computer crash lie).
