With the old plan you would get paid your bonus based on your LPH for the lines that you typed during the pay period. You wouldn't get a bonus for your PTO hours, but you would get a bonus for the lines that you actually typed. With the new plan you only get the bonus if you meet the total lines, so you will not get the bonus for the lines that you did type like you would have before (unless you were still able to type the same number of lines having taken a day or two off that week). So if you call in sick, for example, one day of the week, you will probably not get your bonus that week unless you work extra hours to make more lines to get the total amount of lines required for the bonus. This is actually a decrease in pay than the old LPH system, or on the other hand requiring you to work more hours to make the same amount of money.
