Look at it this way...

Management says there will always be a need for those typing on accounts. 

Transcend is paying M-Modal a certain amount per line for the BT platform.  They're starting new MTs out at 9 and 10 cpl for typing and editing is 60% of that rate, yet they say that they're charging the clients less.  If they can be believed, it only makes sense that they would want to have as much work as possible on editing to save money.  The only reports not on editing will be the ones that can't be edited.  In other words, the garbage.
