You*re right... MRC out of Cleveland, OH, with offices all over the country, was bought out by Medquist about 12 to 13 years ago. Darned shame, too. There's a company by the name of eMTS out of Florida that*s owned and operated by the son of one of the former owners of MRC. From what I*ve read, eMTS seems like a decent company!
Apparently there's another MRC out of Maryland?
