as she has to file a 1099 at the end of the year to she can write off your salary as a business expense? Seems kosher to me. One of my IC jobs, I work direct for the doctor, we have no contracts in place (I sort of inherited the account from another MT), but she has my SSN so she can file a 1099 each year. I would not worry about it, give her the number and get paid and keep working for her. Everyone you work for needs your SSN so they can legally report what they paid you.
