Murphey's law?

I complained about the grammar of others and, while doing so, used a plural when I wanted a singular! Oh well, pride does usually come before a fall!

The point is that I have a liberal arts degree, which requires a lot of writing. Upon graduating with my BA, I had a nearly perfect GPA. I am currently in graduate school and have had perfect grades for the past four semesters. This isn't because I don't have a good command of the language.

I have been working in my specialty, both in and out of clinic, since 1985. I think I have a handle on it by this time.

Quite honestly, I wonder if the desperate attempts by the QA people at my firm and others here to make MTs look as if they don't know what we are doing are not reflective of a desire on the part of management to avoid giving any of us a pay raise. I have been with the same firm for several years now and have never had one.

Have any of you had a pay raise within recent years? I'm just curious.
