Native NYer

I would say assuming that New Yorkers are rude and obnoxious when you don't live there, and just deal with a few individuals who are from there, is smearing people you don't even know. I live in Lancaster PA now, and I have met many more rude people here than I ever did in NY. I am not rude or obnoxious, and find it amusing that people assume that NYers are rude, obvious, etc., without knowing them. I will say this though, NYers move very fast, probably faster than most, and that may be why they have that stigma. When I go back to visit, everything moves so much faster than I am used to anymore, i.e., the rate of their speech, driving, etc.

NYer s are blunt and honest, usually, ...sm
there is no time for sugarcoating, losing time on exaggerated pleasantries, everything is fast and run run, run, everybody is busy and it is 'live and let live.'
Yes, you said it!!! Any non-Native-American...nm

Are you a native American?.......sm
If not, your ancestors came from *somewhere' to this country, didn't they?
that's exactly what the native people thought
about the water people.  They hoped they would go away but they didn't.
Are there not enough physicians in India to keep work plentiful for their native transcriptionists?
I just can't imagine with India being such a large country that they are not swamped with MT work that can stay in their own country. I have always been curious in this regard. So tired of these large transcription companies using the shortage of U.S. MTs to get away with offshoring our work for slave wages. LET THEM TRANSCRIBE FOR PHYSICIANS IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY AND FOCUS ON THEIR COUNTRY'S HEALTH CARE AND QUIT BOTCHING IMPORTANT MEDICAL RECORDS THAT BELONG TO U.S. CITIZENS WHO HAVE NO IDEA WHO IS PRODUCING THE REPORT.
