as far as I know no MTs are paid to look up names. It's part of the job. Of course different accounts have various policies about leaving a blank, sending to QA for names you can't find. I think it's very reasonable to spend a few minutes looking up names -I always do and most of the time it's not that hard to find.. but at a low line rate (such as VR) it lowers the paycheck even more. Just one of the reasons you can't usually edit triple the lines that you can straight type.
