It is well known TTS had a problem with pay at one time which they have readily acknowledged and none since...I thoroughly investigated and was very concerned about this because of posts like yours on this board..and also asked a lot of hard questions in my interview - which anyone can do - and was prepared to quit on a moment's notice if the smallest thing looked not quite right...as a single mom I can't afford to have even one of my paychecks messed with..I have 20 years in this business...7 as an editor...I know how lousy it can sometimes be...but companies, just like MTs and editors, are not perfect - and can have problems at times also and what matters to me is how they solve them, which is why I want to state I have found TTS to be an excellent company. They are honest and up front and in my experience genuinely care about their people..and I regret I almost let a lot of negative posts like yours keep me from my applying..As far as I am concerned there is no problem with TTS...And you are right, their accounts are FABULOUS - to me that is the ultimate act of respect towards one's employees...to offer them accts that don't give them nightmares and where they can make money...I actually find myself looking forward to my docs and as someone who has done mountains of ESL typing and editing I know too well how brutal accts can be... I don't plan on leaving TTS ever if I can help it..
