No, they don't offer benefits as everyone is an IC.
Yes, the work volume is very low on more than 1 account. No sure if they're losing accounts or overhiring or what.
Yes, one account I was on for awhile was very heavy ESL, and by ESL I mean pretty difficult to understand ESLs, not just dictators with accents. The other account I was on was not nearly as bad, perhaps only 1-2 what I would call *challenging* dictators.
MDI-MD is a great place when they have work. I just wish they would explain to those of us contracted with them and counting on them why our work is suddenly drying up and, if they have lost some accounts, to let us know what's in the works to replace them.
