Been there, done that....NOT worth it.  I stuck with it for quite a while, got up to 2500 edited lines, but at 3 cpl.....I was drowning....I was so tired at the end of it all, working LONG hours....almost got evicted, could not pay bills, could not eat (many hungry days).  It is NOT worth it.  You would have to dedicate ALL of your waking time to working, working, working.  it is pitiful, just aweful.  I am sure some do enjoy it as in my experience and opinion, those that do NOT depend on this profession as their SOLE source of income and especially single persons or someone who just wants a second income.  Not for me.  If ever there is nothing but VR left, I will go on SSI or welfare first and it is  a shame because due to my medical condition, this is the only job that has been a fit for me over the years.  I am very, very sad about this profession right now.
