Okay. I will. Thanks for kicking my rear out once and for all

In Reply to: I will be glad when the TT whiners get another job - Quit and shut up

And if you are management, just to let you know, you will get my resignation in a week or so. I know, you will be glad to see me go, so I won't let the door hit me on the way out... Thanks for being so supportive of my decision to quit.

Credibility my REAR

You don't have to have a CMT to be a good MT.  It's all about the MONEY.  They could care less about anything else or they wouldn't ship the US work to people who cannot speak English!!!!!

You want to talk about CREDIBILITY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

LOL, it figures YOU would rear your head
I'll get to work as soon as my shift starts.

I wouldn't want to start earlier than scheduled and 'steal' any of YOUR work, lololololol!!!!!!

Have a lovely green-tinged day, oh jealous one.
Precyse in my rear-view mirror........................
No problem. Feels good to get is off my chest. Don't mind sharing the good, bad and ugly of the job search and its results. With a little luck, I will bag one by the weekend or first of next week. Will follow up on the company board.

I am placing high priority on an hourly wage + benefits position. So much of the pressure would be eliminated and to a certain extent I would accept slightly less $ to get it. They are rare to be sure but not impossible to find with a little persistence.

The jury is still out on the do they still exit query. Over the past 31 years the general progression from good-to-bad followed a gentle and gradual downward slope, punctuated with two major deep dives in my recollection. The first was in the late 80s to early 90s when MTSOs had been around for a few years but were still relatively young. They did not seem to comprehend the concept of employee benefits. IC was their answer and full-employee status all but vanished. This began to turn around in a noticeable way in the late 90s, a full DECADE later. The second and deepest dive is this ASR jolt. We will all end up squaring off with it sooner or later. Generally speaking, small-to-medium size organizations who are competitive in terms of benefit and wages seem to be the most likely place to find a little peace...but meticulous research on those is imperative. I will not rule out anything for the moment. I plan send resumes to as many MTSO companies as possible, even the ones with the bad reps posted on this board, in an attempt to get a phone call PRIOR to what can be the labor-intensive testing phase of the process. I am interested in comparing the various recruiting strategies and offers. I have a copy/fax/scanner on my desk so that really helps in being able to cover a lot of territory.

I also think I will try to edge on out into the general transcription scene just to see what it looks like. Government jobs may be a possiblity as well....they can't age discriminate.

During search, I have found it useful to keep daily notes, tracking the process, contact info, the substance of the conversations, my gut reaction and the time factors. Will post again in a day or 2. Thanks for your interest.
I'll second that....I really don't care about all that crap. No skin off my rear.

Dont' let the envy rear its ugly head of yours.

I'm not kicking anything. Someone asked
shared my experience. I really don't think a $110 loss on my taxes is going to make or break me. I'm just giving people the heads-up on this company and how nasty they can be.
Seems like you are kicking a dead dog. (sm)
I assume you have contacted them yourself. Sorry, but I have no idea why they didn't give you work or why you had to pay shipping yourself. I understood the standard was they gave you a shipping label, you called Fed Ex and they picked up and delivered said package.

I assume you did deduct this as a loss from your taxes in the past?
Insurance kicking in ..
Yes, Heartland does, and it is a good thing because you will need to have your death benefit available for your family to survive after you choke your own self for taking a position with them!
But what about those accused of kicking
trying to get MTs to see there is alternative to staying a vicitm. I have been accused of down kicking but have done no such thing. And would welcome my quotes that others seem to think are down kicking.
So kicking and screaming will do no good, huh?
nm
Husband ditto here. Kicking out...
yet, he does not believe me when I say I am trying my best to get the work. Ug.
or a one-legged man in an ass-kicking contest (nm)

This sounds like a Lee post. She's here alive and kicking.
And she won't go away. Unprofessional and not changing.
the email addy is because it keeps kicking back

There are about four people who have that email addy (it's just like yahoo, hotmail or aol), but this particular email addy keeps kicking back as undeliverable.

MTstars was the only place that this position was posted, so this is why I reposted it ... so that I could get in touch with those particular people.

So give her the couple days before the kicking begins. n/m

You are most definitely upset that your Bush **s-kicking ways have rendered your eyes caught in the
Without MTs, companies would not exist. You and many others have no regard nor respect for hard-working MTS. You can't take it with you. I feel sorry for you. Do the right thing...and, you know what that is.
