Old minds think alike.

I was just looking at their website this morning and wondering the same thing.

I am interested in PT to supplement the job I have now. Are there any benefits for PT? Do they have an IC status?

I, too, can get my required lines in 5 hours. Do they consider FT/PT status by hours or lines?

Thanks for any info!!

Great minds think alike!

great minds think alike....
although I will say I really don't feel I am doing this to benefit myself while hurting someone else.
I think the phrase *cess pool* just means work that one is not used to doing and is difficult for that person to do. My work might be someone else's cess pool, so there are some who might be glad they don't see my accounts. They also might be glad that I sign off when their primary (my cess pool) pops up in my que.
I would thank anyone who signed off their cess pool if it happened to be my primary.
I love how no one is griping about how cheap MQ is while this generous bonus is being offered. If they keep it up on Thanksgiving, I will be more amazed.
I love my job at the Q, and my PS loves me for all my hard work. If anyone here wants to call it cherry picking, go ahead but it's an ignorant assumption!
Oh we think alike! sm

Inquiring minds are a terrible thing to waste so here

For inquiring minds, I do not think any of the following information is confidential, since it is on the court website for anyone to look at, but I found it fascinating and think some of you may also.

The Transtech case has been transferred to Federal Court, US District Court in Texas, because of two or more different states being involved (TT is in Texas, Defendant is in another state, and the five Jane Does can be anywhere in the world).

This information can be publically obtained on the Federal Court Website – PACER.

While I was there, I checked out some of the other Libel/Slander cases that had Closed or Settled to see what the timeline was and how they were settled.  They ranged anywhere from 3 to 6 months, from date of filing with the Federal Court to date of closure.

I found it curious that on most other filings where the Defendant was not known, they used JOHN Doe, but TT used JANE Doe, assuming that everyone who posted on the MTStars was a female.  Or maybe, all TT hires are females?

There were two other cases that really interested me.

One was for a Travelscream Technologies who filed suit against John Doe, Defendant.  It was filed on 10-15-2008 and closed on 01-20-2009.  They were asking $100 million against John Doe because of comments posted on two website.  Apparently John Doe posted: (1) Tranvelscream is just the latest scam by a group of con artists…  (3) Beware of Traveloscream.

The Plaintiff had to DISMISS the case because THEY COULD NOT FIND OUT WHO JOHN DOE WAS!!!!!

But left it open to refile if they could ever identify the person.

The other was for a Beauty Signature Group who filed suit against another company.  The complaint was not on file so I could not read what the allegations where.  The suit was filed on 04-16-2008 and was Settled on 08-12-2008.  Again, the Settlement papers were not filed, so I do not know what the outcome was, but some of the other cases only wanted retractions and no more posting of remarks by the Defendants, so there may not have been any actual money involved, except for court costs, etc.

So, this could all be over by Christmas.
