Problem for me

Not only do you need to be sure your company will allow wireless of any kind (satellite, cellphone connection, etc), you really need to consider the cost of doing this.  Satellite connections are VERY expensive, and downloading via cellphone speed eats up minutes.

But my real problem was that my company uses streaming where only a handful of jobs are available and are returned without a connection.  Extext requires the user to be online to access the que.  You get the idea.

And I still maintain that the last thing I want to be doing is working while the rest of my family goes on their merry way on vacation.  And if you are going to be somewhere any length of time, why not just have an office set up instead of doing this on the fly?
