Are not the MTSOs' nor clients' problem, so stop expecting them to keep *your* expenses in mind.

You need to sit down and figure out what your expenses
will be to handle the account. Then figure a reasonable profit margin to create your rate. If you pull a figure out of thin air, you may well end up losing money instead of making it.
You report wages and expenses as a statutory employee on schedule C.
I don't know how the company is these days, but when I was employed by them, there were some very rude people who worked in the office. I suspect since they were so high up, they're still there.
