I'd go with your gut instincts. This is definitely  an uh oh unless you don't mind not getting paid on time.  Gives new meaning to the phrase The check is in the mail.  Had to wait days to a month before the check arrived. A few months of employment with them and probably half of the checks were late.  Excuses were rampant.  I've been doing this job for almost 20 years and have never run into a situation like this one.  Avoid it like the plague. Owner never available, does not answer emails, rude personnel, unbelievable disorganization.  you name it - it's there.
