Typing 1200 lines a day at approximately 9 cents, I make about the same. Depends on how much you get offered in QA. It is more complicated. More responsibility. Depends upon what you wish. Freedom to work as you wish or whether you think you will enjoy having the responsibility of being a mentor to other MTs. Pay isn't great. Its usually about the same for average MT. Maybe lower for someone who really cranks out the lines. Maybe more for someone who has trouble meeting their line counts. Hope this helps!
