There may be layoffs at SPi, but the sad part is that in this industry, this could happen with any company. Some people move on thinking they have found greener pastures and then proceed to do all they can to bash their former company, but in the end find out that sometimes, the next pasture they went to really isn't all that different. I feel for those who have been let go. I really do. Yet, this is a risk we take working in this industry at all, especially has technology advances and work goes overseas. I've even known people who have left SPi griping and complaining about how all the work is going overseas only to go to work for another company who does the same thing. And the other company they went to was one of the pioneers of outsourcing this work overseas.
